Decks—more living space
We love the fun we have designing, drawing and building decks. Seriously decks can be fun. (Except maybe digging the stump holes!) Whether you need a high access or a low level we can do it. Here are some pics of decks recently done.
Modern Back Porch
This was an upgrade from a old worn out deck. We removed the old decking and replaced them with beautiful, smooth Merbeau boards with a continuous step down that connects the backyard and the living room, making it a perfect space for entertaining and relaxing! We were very happy with the upgrade!
Second Tier Decking Extension
The first is a quite high deck with a vertical boarded screen for privacy. The stairs were lined with Merbeau deck boards connecting the existing deck to the new step down creating a multidimensional outdoor area. Handrail and balustrade are stainless steel wire and fittings.
Sophisticated Deck with Added Privacy
This modern deck required large steps leading down were a integral part of the brief. We created a horizontal screening to offer privacy from the street view.
Pergolas—sun smart & water saving methods
Just as much fun as deck, we also get to do the same with pergolas. From design, using the Light Timber Framing Code, to drawing and construction including roof covering in either polycarbonate or colourbond metal and we include flashings, gutters and down pipes - storm water can be negotiated but can we persuade you to put a small tank or barrel under the down pipe to save the run off?
Dramatic Style
The brief for this pergola was for a "High Pergola". The existing deck required some movement to secure the posts and the existing roof gutter was removed to enable a new larger box gutter.
A whole new backyard!
We built a brand new deck and gabled pergola that offers shelter and comfort. It was a perfect addition thats created a whole new entertaining space in the surrounding of a lush backyard.
